Not So Tiny Bubbles

Paris 2015_2-3
My Paris Series continues with La Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre as seen through bubble lens. As I stepped out of the dark Basilica into the waning light of day, I heard squeals. At the foot of the steps just below the Basilica were several toddlers excitedly chasing bubbles. Big bubbles. An enterprising young man with a bucket of soapy water and a wand dutifully was producing the bubbles. After the latest set of bubbles burst or floated off beyond reach, the kids would turn back to the bubble man and squeal for more. Attentive parents periodically dropped coins in the small container next to the bucket of soapy water. The bubbles kept coming.
