Galatea
The exquisite details of this statue standing in the Louvre immediately brought to mind the story of Galatea and Pygmalion. I absolutely love how the light from a nearby window caresses the statue’s surface, accentuating its finer details and (if you look long enough) making you forget he’s inanimate.
