Hands in Marriage

My brother-in-law, L., and his girlfriend of 10 years, K., tied the knot last weekend with an intimate ceremony on her parents’ front lawn. Of what I know of L., I think this peek at his hands during the ceremony is a glimpse of him. To me, his hands tell several stories in this photograph. A relaxed anticipation. An easy comfort. A boyish nervousness (although I’ve never seen L. be nervous). Readiness.
